Customer in Institutional Industry

I teach sculpture at Ohio Wesleyan University. I started casting Iron in the early 1990’s. At OWU, we use a 24″ Cupola furnace that I designed and built. I was introduced to Thermbond by Araan Schmidt several years ago. I have used a lot of refractories, but Thermbond offers unique properties that made it indispensable for patching and repairs to the furnace liner and ladles. It sticks to anything and cures hard as a rock. I have used it successfully for four years. If you want to see a cool video of my students casting Iron, check out OWU 2013 Iron Pour on Youtube.
