Description of Equipment: Newly designed metal casting ladle lid

Problem: Existing lids were damaging existing lid support structure, and failing within 6 months

Solution:  Designing and installing lighter frame and structure, with full Thermbond PCW lining

Product Being Replaced:  Dense castable

Savings: Eliminated stress and damage to existing support structure due to weight. New Thermbond Insulating Solution extended life of the lining by 4 times!

Products Applied: Thermbond PCW

Method of Installation: Engineered PCW system, welded in place.

Equipment Used: Welder

Scope of Work:  Installed lining into new build lids.
